OVERVIEW
Give hope to students with disabilities to continue schooling.
Our SAWL members, partners and friends, including Minister Indranee Rajah, Ms Rani Singam, and Lee Ci En, came together and lent their voices to help raise funds for the SAWL Scholarship Fund! The music video is a beautiful rendition of Charlie Lim's "Room at the Table" which aptly appeals to everyone for more graciousness and inclusivity in our society.
Through this Fund, we not only assist students with disabilities on their educational needs, we hope to bring them one step closer to achieving their dreams and aspirations. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, we have received 90% more applications for the Fund and we hope to be able to extend our support to more beneficiaries.

Local context
The Singapore Association of Women Lawyers (SAWL) is a non-profit organization focused on education support for students with disabilities. Founded through the shared commitment of its members, partners, and friends, SAWL created and champions the SAWL Scholarship Fund to help learners continue their schooling and move closer to their dreams and aspirations. In support of the Fund, SAWL members and associates—including public figures such as Minister Indranee Rajah, Ms Rani Singam, and Lee Ci En—came together to raise funds and increase awareness through a music video featuring Charlie Lim’s “Room at the Table,” a message centered on graciousness and inclusivity. During the COVID-19 pandemic, SAWL saw a significant increase in scholarship applications, reflecting the urgent need for continued educational assistance. Today, SAWL remains dedicated to extending support to more beneficiaries and helping students with disabilities pursue education opportunities. Serving communities beyond Singapore, SAWL’s scholarship-driven mission resonates with Las Vegas, Nevada residents and organizations looking to support inclusive education and empower individuals through access to learning.
